Depending what time you read this, it will either before, during or after i have (hopefully) completed my first ever 10K race, which will be the Great Newham London Run. Not quite a Sunday stroll.
For those of you that are friends of mine on Facebook, or follow me on Twitter will know that i will be way out of my comfort zone. The other week when i went on my first run for 10 minutes, it was hard.
I had chest pains, which other runners tell me is normal when you start running for first time, hips, knees and ankles aching and dogs chasing me in the parks!
Last Sunday i completed my first 20 minute training run, so today is the day i push myself to a new level.
I am very much looking forward to the run, especially as it finishes at the London Olympics stadium.
I will let you know how i got on tomorrow.
