Preparation is the key.
This time next week, i will be getting ready for the longest run of my life so far, The Great Birmingham Run.
13.1 miles, 21km across the streets of beloved Birmingham. For me. For Hibbs Lupus trust. For inspiration to others that we can all be more active, physically and mentally.
For over 3 months i have been running around the streets of Croydon, Leeds, Rubery, Longbridge and Lickey Hills. Wherever my work or travels take me, i go out on the days in my scheduled training runs.
So far having covered over 260km. Why?
To prepare. To be ready. To improve my chances of finishing.
I want to finish and i’m sure with all the training and preparation, i will finish.
Even though i have added a twist to carry an Olympic torch!
